Zeit-Sprünge. Wirkungsmacht und Aktualität frühneuzeitlicher Denkmuster (gebundenes Buch)
Whoever deals with the early modern period is bound to be confronted with the phenomenon of a time leap. Phenomena, ideas, practices are simultaneously far and near: while they bespeak their premodern origin, they at the same time point forward to the age of modernity. On the occasion of the 80th birthday of its founder Klaus Reichert, this volume gathers contributions from the 'first tier' of the Frankfurt Center on Early Modern Studies. They discuss the ongoing influence of early modern thought patterns and their relevance in our present day.
