Sie tun das aber besonders intensiv dank des gemeinsamen Lebens, wodurch Reibungen und Schmerzen nicht ausbleiben können. Wo diese mit der Hilfe Gottes durchgestanden werden, entsteht eine Strahlkraft, die anziehend wirkt. Je länger je mehr wird den Kommunitäten aber auch bewusst, dass sie diesen Schatz »in irdenen Gefäßen« tragen. Das erdet ihre Spiritualität, deren unterschiedliche Ausformung und Auffächerung in den verschiedenen Darstellungen zum Ausdruck kommt.
